Pelvic Health specialist

Lizzy has always had a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries and she now specialises in Pelvic Health physiotherapy. She has become a guru in the treatment of bladder and bowel incontinence, pelvic organ prolapses, pelvic girdle pain and painful sex (dyspareunia). She has a keen interest in ante and post-natal care and complex pelvic pain and is passionate about maintaining fitness levels in pregnancy and returning to exercise afterwards.

Lizzy is a pelvic health specialist with a Pilates background, can assess and provide rehabilitation programmes and treatments for all clients on an individual basis. She is trained to treat all Pelvic health related issues, including issues arising both antenatally and postnatally.

Many women experience aches, pains and stiffness both during and after pregnancy,. Our Pregnancy service includes assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to help to relieve those muscle and joint pains.

Regular treatment throughout pregnancy supports the health and wellbeing of you and your baby and our treatment employs techniques and positioning adapted to the specific stage of your pregnancy, which means that you can see us at any time.

Soft tissue massage is a great way to relieve the muscle and joint problems that many women experience in pregnancy, such as lower back, neck and shoulder pain.
