Physiotherapy for Older People

Stay strong, steady and independent

Getting older shouldn’t mean giving up the things you enjoy. Our physiotherapists help you keep moving well, feel steadier on your feet and stay independent for longer.

Aches, stiffness, a fall or a spell in hospital can quickly knock your confidence. With the right exercise and support, strength and balance can improve at any age – and small gains can make a big difference to everyday life.

What to expect

A relaxed, unhurried assessment. We’ll ask about your health, what’s difficult and what you’d like to get back to – whether that’s gardening, walking the dog or playing with the grandchildren.

Simple, achievable exercises. Your plan is built around your goals and ability, with clear instructions you can follow at home.

Hands-on care where it helps. Gentle treatment to ease pain and stiffness, alongside advice to keep you moving safely.

Support from family is welcome. Bring a relative or carer along if it helps – they can learn how to support you too.

In the clinic or at home
